933 Hit Awards

I thought of sms-ing in for a chance to win a pair of free 933 Hit Awards tickets but didn't because of Real Run on Sunday. But by chance or coincidence, I was at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday night after my OG mates were given ten tickets after flashing their Singtel phones at a booth at Vivocity. Riding on the sponsorship of Singtel, there I was, a great time cheering for yanzi with OG mates who were also yanzi fans. :)

I figured that the response from the public was just bad. The indoor stadium was not even half filled, would be even more pathetic without the free tickets given out by Singtel and if Fahrenheit didn't come for the event.

Nevertheless, the performances by some of the artistes were awesome. Special mention should go to Evan Cai; the whole stadium was literally singing and swaying along with his rendition of the widely publicised Wo Ke Yi. Though Fahrenheit's singing was lacklustre, they spiced up the atmosphere with hordes of fans clustering at the baricades cheering wildly.

It was a fun night, though I hate the loud whistling which almost blew up my eardrums and the hassle of taking a cab home after midnight. I was lucky I survived the Real Run the following day with 3 other OG mates who went for the Awards Ceremony too. Haha.

gOOdBye aNd HellO

Uncommercialised but sensual and smoothing. It's all too typical of Tanya Chua. A good companion for a quiet night:) Darwin rocks but sounds too vaguely familiar. Haha. Oh, and I caught a glimpse of the calender as I was passing by a CD stall in school and I preordered. Which means I will be getting mine in school next Friday! Can't wait!~

keLLy pOoN

She came back successfully remade image-wise! Though her voice was not strong enough to pull off the wide-ranged Yi Miao Zhong De Yong Yuan, the song suited her perfectly. And Shakalaka Baby was awesome... hmm.. she might just make it big with a bit of luck:)

fUn iN ScHooL!

Sitting alone in a corner in Mega Bites Cafe at the Science faculty of NUS waiting for friends to finish their lessons and join me for Kelly Poon's campus concert tonight, I had a sudden urge to pose some interesting photos we took during biology lab just now. School is fun! For those of you interested, the first illustrates the process of electrophoresis, the second is an application of biotechnology to create red fluorescent zebrafish and the last, whatever your imagination makes out of it... Haha!!!:)
